Yes indeed, been a canny weekends gigging for us lot. Felt like we hadn't played live in ages for some strange reason. Friday night saw us back in the Blacksmiths Arms in Gosforth, had many a great gig there and Friday was no exception. The audience were awesome, great communication and feedback etc. Always a pleasure to see our two number 1 groupies as well, Anne (geordie rock chick) and Melissa (g.r.c.jr.). Wonder what all the hullabaloo was about when I pulled up and got out my car. Loads of screaming and clattering gannin' on down one of the nearby alleyways, sounded like a scene from Deathwish 3! Local charvas I suspect, more edge than a cracked piss pot!

Saturday night united us in Sacriston Cricket Club for a teriffic follow up to Gosforth. As on Friday, the turnout was great as was the crowd response. Thanks to Del, Cath, Joan, Arthur and Stevie for trailing out....yet again...to cheer us on, much appreciated.

These last two gigs were actually really special because we launched brand new 'original' material into our set, a song called 'Headlock'. I was trully amazed and elated at how well it went down, because you never really have any idea how people will take to your own stuff and I'm always terrified that people will think my songs are log, hence my reluctance to incorporate them into our sets. However, after hearing the great reviews on this one, I'm much more keen to throw more in......that is of course if I can stand more weeks of that, 'I tawwld thee so', look on Waynes pyet, since he's (rightly it would seem) been badgering me to get me tunes in the set lists.

Well my cheery readers I'm ganna skeedaddle and pilfer a Cornetto from the freezer.....fancy watching a good movie too....can anyone recommend owt new?

Our next gig's in the 'Haunted' Lumley Castle, check us out...if you dare...mwa ha ha haaaa.

P.S. Papa smurfs mobile rock n roll disco will burn and we will casually urinate on the ashes!
