Hi, Well last weekend was a busy one. Played a gig on Thursday at The Crown in Crook, bit of late booking and I gather one of the first gigs at the venue....I think trade was a bit slow that evening, but all in all we had a good night and those that came to see us enjoyed it. I think wind is becoming a problem in our band, its confined to gig nights only, so I guess them 3 have bad guts leading upto gigs as they obviously don't fart any other day of the week! Only when I'm leaning over to plug summat in on a gig night. Friday night we played another new venue in the form of the Ropery in Sunderland....not what I expected!! Felt like I was setting up in someones front room, what with the fireplace n all. Again, not that many in, but we enjoyed it. We've been tinkering with the sound lately to try and get a better balance...and it did sound pretty good that evening!! Saturday night, another first!! Innisfree social club at Longbenton. Sound was even better at this one, the room wasn't too long and we got a good mix out front I thought....Paranoid at a WMC? Well, as Gibbo says "you can't break a tradition!". The duck impressions were in full flow at this one, I could have sworn I heard wayne play the first four bars of the Johnny Briggs tv theme tune. I even left paul a stench ridden gas pocket just before molly's Chambers, wonder if he got a lung full as it drifted over?? Anyway, enough of my guffing!! We're at the Cleveland Hotel in Redcar on Fri night this week, love playing there. We're always made welcome!! Sat see us at the Weardale hotel, someone's birthday party if I recall, always a good appreciative crowd. Promises to be a great couple of nights. Hope to see you at one of them!! Take care Mal

Mal, Gibbo - ya shudda let on you were playing in corruk on thusda night - i mighta been able to drag the big fella up with me to see yas - opportunity missed dudes - I feel neglected...... Bounce
