Hi All,

It's been a few weeks since I blogged. Hmmm, let me see, what's happened since then.

Well, we played the Cleveland Hotel and had a cracking night, we did finish as a 3 piece cos Waynes amp went....errm...quiet! Apparently he blew the speakers...how the...did he do that. But as a whole gig it was great!

The grand? Well what can I say, the place was packed from start to finish....I thought we played really well...people were dancin, shouting, singing along...great stuff...even the trooper went down well (apart from my solo, it was log)!! Simon had to get more lager in, it's a real ale pub, but we'd brought a lot of lager drinkers apparently....he's even given us another date (hope Paul's confirmed it with him!!)

On to last weekend, we played a wedding do at Ferryhill leisure centre. I much prefer playing pubs, but wedding do's can be fun too....especially when we found out Paul's favourite DJ was doing the disco!! nuff said. The gig itself was good, a few issues with sound as we were playing in the sports hall and the sound was bouncing more than Gibbo's heed after a night on the pop!! We set up on the afternoon as we'd been asked to and returned at 7.30...upon getting on the stage I noticed my mic stand and pedal board had been altered somewhat....further investigation found that the mic stand had been knocked over and badly re-erected....'twasn't the DJ apparently....i'd love to know who it was as they'd bashed the mic in too.....it's only a small thing, but it was something I couldn't get used to all night!!

Anyhow, after a few opening blunders we settled in really well and played a cracking gig, slightly restricted due to there being a DJ (he wanted his go too!!) but hey, we enjoyed it. Good luck to the Bride and Groom, sorry their names escape me right now, but I wish them all the luck in the world.

The lads (B*****ds they are) hid me hat...and didn't want to tell me where it was!! Now I know I don't look good in hats, but me swede was cold!! Oh well, I'll get me own back...just you wait Davison!! I did get it back, it was stuffed inside a rolled up gym mat...I don't want to even think about who's sweaty body parts have been on that mat!! uuurghhh

Anyway am off now to dye my hair like Waynes cos he's my hero....
