Hi,

It's been a while since my last Blog....getting to think I'm the only one who does them....tho Gibbo says he wrote one the other day but lost all of the content due to problems on the site..bugger, he said there was some good stuff in it.
Tales of hot food, chewy and windy bingo aren't the same if anyone else does it....go on Gibbo, have another go, but type it in notepad, save it and then copy and paste to the blog (top tip from your friendly IT storage Professional).

Well, I'll take you back to the 9th of Nov, where we played to a packed Wheatsheaf (max 10)...never mind tho, the fight just before the end of the 1st half kept us entertained. In the second half I made my vocal debut with D.O.A....anyone who knows this song, know's Mr Grohl embraces the roar, so I tried to do the same....finished it with my face looking like an over inflated beetroot...but it wasn't a bad first go by all accounts...need to get me breathing sorted out I reckon. So onto the two night stint at Cockerton..we upheld the tradition of playing paranoid in a WMC...and it went down quite well....my vocals on D.O.A. were D.O.A. too much hammer the night before...anyway they were two good nights, not so many in on the Sunday but they still enjoyed it. Thanks to Andy from Aksents for supplying the PA, our little rig wouldn't have coped.

Now to Fri 16th Nov, we played to a recently re-furbished Cleveland Hotel.......intro'd two new songs...not telling ya, you'll just have to come and see us :-) Always like playing there, everyone's friendly and we even had them singing along...we were told that we might have been a bit loud, 'tis the only way we know I think...but as long as everyone enjoyed it....i wasn't looking fwd to it, but that changed once we kicked off....

Was on call the 17th, had a quiet day, went to bed early...the clock wasn't 10 minutes past midnight and the bloody pager went off....got back in the house at 8.30am had 3 hours kip, a bit of lunch and then back out to work for another 3 hours for some planned changes at a customer site. Didn't wanna get up this morning!!

We're back at the Archdeacon in Darlo on the 23rd...I strongly recommend you try and get to this one if you can....it's mint...they went crazy last time and its safe to say the four of us had a top night...can't wait!!

I'm off out for a bit of liquid refreshment.

Take care
