Afternoon all, just had a canny weekend, first off we had a gig on Saturday night at The Bebside inn in Blythe. When we turned up there was hardly a soul in the place, we then got told all the regulars were out on a do with the landlord somewhere, so we thought we were going to be playing to the bar staff and the pool table!! Anyway just when we thought it couldn’t get any worse we made a total bulls lug of our first song, after that we quickly sorted ourselves out and the place got canny busy, half time had the usual talking bollocks, from Edgey telling us about Whoppee Goldberg and a brown outline on a white pillow, to me and Paul seeing  60 year old Amy Winehouses’ growler (at one point I think it actually went to bite Paul’s hand).By the end of the night it felt as though I was standing on a mattress, people were jumping up and down that much!

Last night I took my other half to the Carling Academy in Newcastle to see a band called The Fray, it was Cheryl’s first gig ever?!?! I think she was impressed, but I couldn’t really tell. (Think I had a bad pint, maybe the tenth one, who knows??) Im still feeling the effects of it now. Anyone know of a good hangover cure? Just tried Gibbo’s  method of strawberry milkshake with a monster munch chaser…..not bad young un’
