As ever, a smashing night in the Olde Horseshoe in Crook. However, we were very self conscious in terms of how we played due to the fact the whole gig was being recorded......I for one was a little tense...and...made a few mistakes I think...he he he, but as a whole I think we did alright. Good news is, at least we'll have some CD's for anybody wishing to hear us.
The gig was very elaborate in that we had a sub contracted light crew for the night....by all accounts it looked excellent. Many thanks to the lads in charge of that.
I would also like to thank Dave (I'm sure that was his name) who recorded the gig for us, he was very professional, cooperative and a top bloke who knew his stuff, really looking forward to hearing the finished product and subsequently working with him again when the opportunity arises.
I'm also eternally grateful to the people who turn out to see us, especially Anne (the groupie) and our friends from Chilton who travel reguarly to cheer us on.....it means a great deal.
Right I'm offski to sort me gear out for the gig tonight at The Vane Arms in Sunderland. Who knows....might see you there....
