Travellers gig was tremendous, our following in that area is second to none, so many thanks to all who turned out to watch us again...much appreciated. With three brilliant gigs in Cockerton so far I'm definately looking forward to playing the club in November, it should be awesome. Got some great up and coming gigs too ( check the gig list). We're beig recorded at the Horseshoe gig in Crook so I'm hoping for a full house for that one....lots of noisy people! Every gig we've played there has been great so far so.....should be mint.
There's a few new venues for us too soon such as Sleepers (Boldon) and Harleys (Sunderland) so I'm interested to see what they're like to play. Thanks to Linda Cross, (whom I'm yet to meet lol), for booking us for those. We've played Olivers, which is not too far away from Harleys....It was more like a night club than a live music venue and the band accounted for two thirds of the people in the venue that evening hahaha...........slight exaggeration
Our next one is the Rugby club in Bishop Auckland, I can't actually remember if this is a private function or open to all. Last time we played there I think it was a private do. That was a strange one, bouncy castles, face painting stands and lots of bewildered people. If they have bouncy castles this time, I'll have to try and convince Malcolm that it would not be in his best interests to utilise this facility, mainly due to the fact that the poor lads knee is still reminiscent of a burst casey and delicate. Paul is also forbidden from leaping upon any inflatable leisure objects for other 'obvious' reasons........i.e. unsuspecting toddlers already partaking, being suddenly flung into orbit....hahahahahahahaha.
Anyway....I've got a war to win...so off I trot.
Thanks again to our following in Cockerton/Darlington...you people RULE!!!!...(Scream for me Cockerton!!!!)
